The Key of Oialis — Peyote Spindlepod Beading Tutorial (PDF)
The Key of Oialis — Peyote Spindlepod Beading Tutorial (PDF)
In the world of Legacy of the Deep, the Key opened the way to Oialis when the Nerethai were forced to leave their underwater palaces. They left it behind for those who might one day choose to find them.
The Key of Oialis is a standalone 3D peyote spindlepod beading tutorial by Lady Lunar Cat. Its long, tapered crystalpod form combines deep cobalt, aqua and pale blue, white, gold and violet-blue accents in an intricate, symmetrical design.
This is the slender centerpiece of the Legacy of the Deep collection, available to purchase individually. You can make the Key on its own; the other two patterns are not required.
Digital PDF tutorial only — no finished ornament or materials are included.
Why You Will Love This Design
- An elegant sculptural shape: A long, spindle-shaped pod with finely tapered ends and a luminous central motif.

- Illustrated guidance: Follow step-by-step bead diagrams, a row-by-row word chart and panel-joining instructions.
- A piece to display: Make an ornament for a decorative stand or a distinctive Christmas decoration, adding your preferred hanging attachment.
